Anshul Tiwari
Anshul Tiwari is a London-based Indian-origin film director, screenwriter, and film editor. A BIFA (British Indie Film Awards) Springboard fellow, he has created two feature films, five award-winning short fiction films, and nearly fifty documentary short films.
His feature film BEFORE LIFE AFTER DEATH was selected at the Singapore International Film Festival 2022 and is acquired by Netflix Asia Pacific. His short fiction BIN BULAAYE was the Select Short at the Mumbai Film Festival (Jio MAMI) 2019 and garnered millions of views on Youtube.
His key documentary works include — BREAK THE SILENCE (Best Film, Shorty Social Good Media Award, Los Angeles and SIMA Social Impact Media Award) and ROSARIO (Best Documentary, IAFOR FilmAsia Japan).
In 2023, Anshul directed his second feature film THE LAST RESORT, starring Vinay Pathak in a never-before-seen avatar, coming out later this year.

Debasmita Dasgupta
Debasmita Dasgupta is a London-based South Asian graphic novelist, screenwriter, creative producer, and co-founder of FilmsPositive, a film & media production company in Singapore.
An award-winning author-illustrator, her visual stories including her latest graphic novel TERMINAL3 have been published by Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, and Scholastic to name a few. Her illustrated animation work has been showcased at the Raindance Film Fest in the UK & Canada.
In a career spanning over 15 years, she has written and produced two award-winning short films and a significant number of documentaries working with agencies such as the United Nations and the European Commission.
In 2021, Debasmita wrote and produced BEFORE LIFE AFTER DEATH, her first feature film. It is now acquired by Netflix Asia Pacific. In March 2023, she produced her second feature film THE LAST RESORT, which is currently in post-production.

As the creator and host of the Rethink Desi YouTube channel and podcast, she blends thought-provoking commentary with engaging content that challenges cultural norms and sparks meaningful conversations.
Her passion for storytelling recently expanded into filmmaking with her debut short film, The Love Letter, which is currently being submitted to film festivals. She is also a member of the Asian American Documentary Network, connecting with a vibrant community of creators who share her passion for impactful storytelling.
With a background rooted in creating digital content and a focus on socially conscious narratives, Arpita is committed to using film as a medium to inspire, educate, and build bridges across communities.
